#WelcomeRefugees

In 2016, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada delivered 7,500 refurbished computers to Syrian refugees in Canada.

CFSC coordinated these efforts through the CFS+ program. These computers provided refugee families with tools for education and employment, as well as access to important digital resources and a means to stay connected with their families overseas. Partnerships with Microsoft, CN, CIBC, MediaSmarts, Telus, and Facebook supported the offering of computers and services in support of this project.
